We have been producing free range turkeys at Christmas time for the past 25 years. All of our turkeys are free range and can explore every day until night fall.
The turkeys are processed on the farm by hand and left to hang for about a week before they are prepared for our loyal customers. We endeavour to supply the birds to our customer’s exact requirements although we can’t always control the exact weights!
We are delighted to announce that we are the proud suppliers of our free range turkeys to the Castle Howard Estate for 2017.
People worldwide are re-discovering the benefits of buying local food. It is fresher than anything in the supermarket and that means it is tastier and more nutritious. It is also good for your local economy - buying directly from family farmers helps them stay in business.
Turkey orders are secured by paying a £10 deposit (below) and paying the remaining balance upon collection. All online payments are made via our little wold vineyard online shop and are 100% secure. The remaining balance can be paid either by cash or card on collection. If you chose delivery then this is by cash only.
By ordering online you are able to secure your turkey in advance. We cannot guarantee an exact weight but will try to get as near as possible to your preferred weight. Customers will have a greater chance of receiving their exact weight the earlier they arrive on Christmas Eve.

All of our turkeys are individually priced and weighed in KG. We charge a set fee per KG for each bird. Therefore the price you pay will be the weight of the bird multiplied by the price per KG as shown below:
Up to 6.8kg in weight is £9.35 per kg
Over 6.8kg in weight is £8.80 per kg
4.5kg - 6.0kg - Serves 6 to 10 People
6.0kg - 7.5kg - Serves 10-12 People
7.5kg - 9.0kg - Serves 12-14 People
9kg+ - Serves 15+ People
We would advise these servings are approximates and would always recommend ordering a size bigger if you would like left overs for Boxing day and to ensure you have enough Turkey on the day! If you are unsure please contact us and we will be able to guide you on a size for your needs.
Ideal for smaller families, those who don’t want a huge amount of left overs or have small ovens. Crowned turkeys come with the legs and wing tips removed but will be included as separate in your bag!
Local delivery
We are now offering a delivery service within a 10 mile radius of South Cave. Delivery will cost £5 per order and deliveries will be made on Saturday 23rd December or the morning of the 24th December 2017.
